We are so glad you asked! Lay the Ultralight down on the ground, with the straps side on the bottom. Now fold it in half the long way like a hot dog. Next fold it four times in the other direction. Pick it up, wrap the straps around and secure. Tip: be sure to neatly line up the corners like origami for a nice tidy bundle!

We want to help ensure a long life for your mat! Here are the care instructions for our natural rubber yoga mats, and we’ve written them below as well. Be sure to follow these in order to not void the warranty!

Cleaning: the Ultras / Ultralights are designed to be rinsed in the shower as needed and hung up by the straps to air dry thoroughly, usually overnight! Alternatively, you can spray liberally and wipe down with a 20:1 water/vinegar solution. Do not use regular yoga mat or other cleaners on this plant-based product as it may harm the mat, and will invalidate the warranty.

Storing: Make sure the mat is thoroughly dry before storing it in a cool, dry place. Do not leave Yogo mats in water, sun, or rain for extended periods. They are made of natural materials and can get damaged.

Use: Please use Yogo Mats for yoga and other similar floor exercises only. Don't cut the mat, use it as a hammock, or for any other non-intended purposes. The straps are very strong but not designed to support your weight.

Yes! The reviews are true, Yogo Ultralight mats are extremely sticky / grippy, and we’ve received an award from Yoga Journal for the sticky grip! The very high grip occurs naturally from the plant rubber. Nonetheless, in very sweaty yoga, like most mats, we recommend a towel for safety. 

The Ultralights are thin mats, and that is a feature that allows them to pack up small! These mats are designed for that moment when a heavy big rolled mat is not convenient, and they are a complement to your regular thick mat. (Although some people just use their Ultra/Ultralight all the time!) Most customers find that they are surprisingly cushiony for how thin and light they are, and they also allow more stability which is really beneficial for inversions.

We do not offer overnight at this time, but domestically we do ship Priority which is fast, and our International Economy ranges from 3-10 days.

APO addresses can sometimes take a little longer due to military mail and foreign logistics. We will see the tracking updates only up to the point of arrival in the foreign country, and then the parcel will be transferred to the US Military to process customs, and USPS cannot track after that. 

If the package seems to be taking a long time, you can 

(1) click on 'track' to make sure it arrived in-country, (see “tracking” answer) then 

(2) the active-duty recipient can: 

• contact their military post office to get an idea of the time frame, 

• contact the HRC to find out more about a military mail delay at [email protected], or 

• reach the MPSA at 1-888-ARMYHRC (276-9472).

Tricks to try if you are seeing a high rate:

 If you are ordering to a rural area internationally, you can try shipping to an alternate location in a city as there is sometimes a rural up charge.

Another great idea is to see if a friend is interested in buying a Yogo product as well, which would cut the shipping rate in half!

That depends on the exact location, but generally speaking in the US shipments take 1-3 days, and international can range from 4-10 days. There should be an estimate in the checkout before you pay. 

Here are some international examples.  

• For a big city in Australia or Asia: about 5-10 days. 

• European cities: about 5-8 days

• Big city in the Middle East: about 7-10 days

• South America: 7-10 days

• Very remote or rural addresses can take up to 12 days due to the difficulty of traveling in a remote location, even if they are in a nearby country.

• Please note, for holidays please add an extra week.

The main ingredient in Yogo’s rubber yoga mats is certified-responsibly-farmed plant rubber tapped from trees on long term plantations. Yogo works with the plantation and processing and manufacturing organizations to ensure we have the highest quality rubber which is also farmed in the most responsible way.

The mats also contain cotton mesh to keep the mat from stretching, some non-toxic minerals like the same sulfur that preserves apricots, and calcium carbonate to preserve the rubber and keep it from biodegrading too quickly.  Lastly the straps on our Ultralight yoga mats are made from 100% recycled bottles.

We are very proud of how our products are produced.  We have inspected our entire supply chain from soil to studio and every party carries quality certifications including where appropriate social responsibility.  Yogo’s yoga mats are currently made at our green manufacturing partner’s factory in Asia. The manufacturing facilities are clean and pleasant, and we have personally visited and inspected them and can attest that they seemed like good places to work.  The plantation is certified as socially- and environmentally-responsible by the Forest Stewardship Council, as well as quality certifications such as ISO 14001 and 9001 and an “A” rating with the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI).

• Pack your unused and unopened item in a strong shipping box and seal it securely

• Securely apply the shipping label that we send

• Include a copy of your original online receipt or pack slip, or the original pack slip

Once the return has been inspected, a refund for the cost of the unopened merchandise minus any restocking fee will be issued to your original form of payment.

Yogo has a limited 3-year warranty on all our products. If one of our items is found to have a manufacturing defect, then we will replace or refund it. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, (for instance how tennis shoes wear out after a while) and it does not cover any issues resulting from improper care of the mat.  Please treat your mat nicely according to our care instructions which you can also find on the product insert card (don’t leave it out in the sun, don’t leave it out in the rain, don’t wash in the washing machine, only use our recommended cleaners, etc.) in order to ensure a long life for the mat.

Based on the above, if you feel that you have a warranty issue, please reply with photos of the issue, and describe the problem. Please also tell us how you have been storing the mat and cleaning it.
